Ila joined Keppie in 2025 after graduating from Napier University with a BDes (Hons) in Interior and Spatial Design.
They also have a Maths degree from Strathclyde University and did teacher training at the University of Glasgow. Before working at Keppie, they were self-employed as a private tutor.
Ila volunteers organising Science Fiction conventions, and does cross switch and embroidery.
