Andrew studied architecture at the University of Edinburgh, completing his Masters with a special focus on environmental and sustainably-driven design. Having worked for award-winning practices throughout the UK, Andrew joined Keppie in 2013 and has since been promoted to Associate.

A creative and dedicated architect, Andrew has considerable experience working on both local and international projects, across various project sectors, scales and RIBA work stages. He has sound technical knowledge, design skills and project running experience.

A personal area of expertise is Andrew’s knowledge of the industrial sector. Adept at understanding clients’ requirements, Andrew enjoys developing effective industrial spaces that efficiently match good design with even the most challenging of site topography.

In his time at Keppie, Andrew has played a significant role in securing planning consent for the Lochaber Recycling & Billet Casting Facility in Fort William. He was the project architect for the refurbishment of the Grade A listed building, Lews Castle in Stornoway, for a luxury hotel development. He has led the masterplan proposals for the cultural transformation of Kilmarnock, as well as successfully delivering a number of retail projects.

Andrew enjoys travel, the outdoors and spending time with his family, he also attempts to enjoy watching his beloved Manchester United!
