Andrew studied at Edinburgh University and qualified as an Architect in 2011. Andrew is a creative and dedicated Architect, who has worked for award winning practices throughout the UK. He joined Keppie in 2013 and has quickly become a key member of the practice.
Andrew has considerable experience working on both local and international projects, across various project sectors, scales and RIBA work stages. He has gained sound technical knowledge, design skills and project running experience. Notably he played a significant role in securing planning consent for the Lochaber Alloy Wheel Facility in Fort William and on the refurbishment of a listed building to create hotel and leisure accommodation at Lews Castle in Stornoway. Andrew is responsible for running multiple projects at once, requiring the ability to prioritise effectively and work well under pressure. Day to day, Andrew liaises with clients, contractors, engineers and local planning authorities, and he supports colleagues across the business with design input, offering creative ideas and practical advice.
Andrew recently became a dad and hopes one day in the not too distant future… if the football gods permit… to enjoy watching his beloved Manchester United play in the Champions League with his son Callum.
