Melanie began her studies at the Glasgow School of Art in 2022, completing her BArch in 2025, and is currently working with Keppie Design as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant.
Her undergraduate work explores accessibility and inclusivity in architectural design. Melanie’s experience caring for her younger brother with additional support needs, led her to pursue a career in architecture where she could advocate for neurodiverse and disabled persons through design, for a better built environment.
Inspired by this, it is her ambition to contribute to projects in Healthcare and Education, where thoughtful architecture can make a real difference to daily life.
| In her spare time, Melanie loves to cook for her loved ones, read and particularly enjoys portrait and still life painting. When she is out and about, you’ll find her exploring beaches, gardens and forests. |
