Maryla graduated with a Masters and Diploma from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in 1989 following an Honours degree from Manchester University. She was awarded the William Gillespie Prize for Urban Design and the MSA Student Travel Award.
Maryla joined Keppie in 2013 with many years of concept design and masterplanning experience in all sectors particularly education, including healthcare, residential, leisure and commercial having worked in Glasgow, London, Switzerland and the Middle East. Maryla’s key role is focused on Concept Design which with her sketching and visualisation skills forms a valuable part of Keppie’s overall Placemaking vision.
Outside the office Maryla loves to indulge her passion for film, languages, good food and wine, painting and photography especially during her European city breaks and her sojourns in the Scottish Highlands. A lapsed pianist, she taught piano as a student.
