Michael McKernan

Michael studied at the University of Strathclyde. He likes the civic and social role of architecture within communities, especially those that are often overlooked. He enjoys being hands on within community consultations and having one-to-one conversations with the end users of projects. This is something he is also involved in his own local community.

He was once at an event in London celebrating young community activists and volunteers, hosted by David Cameron. He stepped backwards without looking to allow someone to pass by, when he put his foot to the ground, he heard a grunt and a big commotion…. he has stepped on (the then) Prince Charles’s foot!
