Lauren McNeil

Lauren studied Urban Planning at the University of Dundee before moving to Fife to begin her career in Planning. Lauren worked within the public sector in Fife for 5 years, before returning to Glasgow and joining Keppie in November 2025.

Lauren forms part of the Planning Team here at Keppie, working alongside Associate Director Chris Mitchell, to deliver specialist planning advice and support clients throughout every stage of the planning process. Lauren’s experience in Local Government has equipped her with strong expertise in planning legislation, policy interpretation and development management. Lauren is passionate about sustainability, placemaking, and promoting the creation of inclusive, well-considered environments, that enhance the quality of life for all users.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying out new food spots and reading a good murder mystery.
