Alistair graduated from Strathclyde University in 2012 with a Masters of Architecture. Following a year at a rural housing practice in Glasgow, Alistair worked in London for four years, qualifying as an Architect in 2015, before joining Keppie in October 2017.
As a Project Architect with extensive experience across all work stages, Alistair has played a pivotal role in the design and delivery of numerous Keppie projects, most notably in the commercial, cultural and educational sectors. These include the HALO Enterprise & Innovation Hub in Kilmarnock – a mixed-use building which picked up the Best Regeneration Project at the Scottish Property Awards, and Best Corporate Workplace at the BCO Awards in 2022; Rutherglen Links Office Pavilion; SFRS West Asset Resource Centre at Cambuslang, and most recently, the redevelopment of Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre in Edinburgh. Alistair’s technical awareness, eye for detail and positive, can-do attitude make him a valued member of the Keppie team.
Alistair is a keen cyclist and football enthusiast and loves spending time with his family, and can often be found enjoying walks in the park and sampling the cafes and restaurants in Glasgow’s South Side.
