Keppie strengthens management structure

Keppie has announced a number of new senior appointments in response to increasing demand for its services from clients based throughout the UK and abroad.

This strengthening of resources, together with the extended geographic reach achieved earlier this year with the opening of new regional offices in Manchester and Belfast, places Keppie in the front rank of leading architectural practices in the UK.

A new management level of 14 Divisional Directors has been created within the company.  The new appointments include both internal promotions and external recruitment.

The new Divisional Directors are Stephen J Hall, Jim McKechnie, Margaret Schofield, Paul Toffolo, Richard MacDonald (Urban Design) and Mark Steele (Landscape) in Glasgow, with Andrew Morton and Jonathan Jones in the Perth office and Alistair Hawkins, Charles Cutting and Donald Canavan taking up their new roles in Edinburgh. Martin Clancy, Alasdair Cumming and Lindsay Allan head up the Manchester, Belfast and Inverness offices respectively.

These appointments have given Keppie the opportunity to promote a further eight people within the company to Associate level.

David Ross, Design and Professional Services Director based in the company’s Glasgow office, commented: “These appointments highlight a year of rapid growth for Keppie. Clients undertaking major architectural projects need us to provide a seamless blend of planning, urban, landscape and interior design expertise. The additional strength which these appointments bring to our practice will allow us to support clients with a full, integrated and expert service across the whole of the UK and abroad.”
