Year of dramatic growth and achievement for Keppie


Keppie has recorded a 24% growth in revenue for 2006-07. We also opened new offices in Manchester and Belfast to complement our offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Inverness, and increased our technical staff by 18%. To crown these achievements, Keppie won a clutch of design awards this year, and leapt six places to no. 16 in the Architect’s Journal top 100.

With a strengthened team across the UK, Keppie is ideally positioned to tackle the largest and most ambitious projects in all sectors and across a broad range of design disciplines.”

Among recent appointments are:
Richard MacDonald becomes a Main Board Director based in Glasgow. Richard joined the practice 18 months ago, bringing with him a wealth of experience in large-scale commercial projects. He manages the 1 million sq ft office development at EuroCentral Business Park, and is also involved in the Ravenscraig regeneration project.

Mike Lawson becomes Divisional Director based in Inverness. Mike has over 15 years’ experience in architecture and civil engineering. He played a lead role in Keppie’s success in the Highland Housing Fair, and his promotion furthers strengthen our Inverness team.

Peter Czajkowskyj becomes an Associate in Keppie’s Manchester office, launched in May 2006. He is a member of the core team working on the Tameside General Hospital PFI redevelopment project.

Stephen Hall in Glasgow and Syd Maguire in Edinburgh are promoted to Technical Managers. In their new role, both will be able to apply their experience of specific sectors and building technologies to ensure the technical competence of projects being undertaken by these offices.
