Paul joined Keppie in 1998 following seventeen years honing his skills in both private practice and the public sector. His experience in all facets of the building procurement process quickly established Paul as a senior team leader and project runner, being promoted to Associate in 2000 and subsequently Divisional Director in 2006.
A graduate of the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Paul is firmly of the belief that the solution to any design challenge will only be found through the rigorous understanding of the Client’s requirements and the context within which the challenge is set. Paul’s drive for design excellence is reflected through his mentoring role within the practice where his enthusiasm for the job is an influence on the team spirit within Keppie, particularly manifested in the successful completion of the designs for eight university campuses in
Paul says:
“At Keppie there is a willingness to help. No request is a problem. Collaboration is open, honest and frank. This work ethic promotes dialogue and creativity at every level, enforcing a sense of ownership, commitment and pride in our evolving ideas and of the practice product as a whole.”
