
Following qualification as an architect, Jonathan gained a decade of experience in the construction industry prior to joining Keppie in 1999. He subsequently became an Associate in 2003 and thereafter was appointed a Divisional Director in 2006. His specialisms include job/project management, risk management and “added value” implementation. Jonathan currently holds a senior role within the education focus team and manages the Perth office, so has responsibility for the delivery of projects across all sectors, ensuring that time and budgetary constraints are complied with.
Jonathan trained at the Duncan of Jordanstone University, Dundee and completed his professional examination in 1990. Since graduating he has had experience in a varied range of projects across the learning, living and working strands. Upon joining Keppie, Jonathan’s first project was to lead the team redeveloping the former Pullars of Perth works site, in the heart of Perth city centre, to provide centralised offices for Perth and Kinross Council. This project was the first project to be completed by Keppie under the Public Finance Initiative. Subsequently, he spent a number of years working on a variety of mixed use development projects in Guernsey before overseeing the delivery of ten schools across the Highlands.
