Christian graduated from the University of Technology, Eindhoven in 1997  and worked in the Netherlands before joining Keppie in 1999. He is particularly interested in the functional and technological aspects behind complex projects and applies his comprehensive  engineering knowledge  to deliver genuinely integrated buildings and masterplans.

His passion for detail drives him to deliver truly good  and seemingly simple building solutions. He believes that: "Designers need to thoroughly understand and control the various complexities behind this perceived simplicity in order to create solutions that are refined and durable and don’t rely on unnecessary ornamentation.”
