Alan began his career with Keppie Design in 1986 and has recently taken the lead role within our Technical Manager group. Alan trained at Falkirk Technical College and Glasgow College of Building and Printing. Alan is an active leader within our Design Management Group, bringing a balanced approach to the creative and technical aspects of our work.
From the new BBC HQ in Glasgow to a new prefabricated pod hotel concept, he has demonstrated an enthusiasm and willingness to help realise the ideas of many designers creativity. Alan is currently involved in the delivery of two new universities within Libya.
In his spare time, Alan enjoys spending time with his daughters. He also enjoys walking, gardening, football, and is an avid ‘armchair’ follower of Formula 1.
