John joined Keppie in 1987 and following his appointment to the main board in 2000, became Operations Director for Glasgow in 2006. He is responsible for the delivery of major commercial design and build projects, as well as human resources and facilities management.
He has specialised in developing repeat business and client relationships following his early years working on over 70 McDonald's restaurants throughout the UK. He has also worked with Bovis Lend Lease leading a large number of retail developments throughout Scotland, including the Overgate Shopping Centre, Dundee; Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh and the new Glasgow headquarters for BBC Scotland. Over the last 8 years he has been responsible for the development of a multi-million pound mixed use project in Guernsey for Comprop.
In his spare time John is a professional golfer, travel connoisseur and self builder, practising what he preaches. back
