David joined Keppie in 1988 and has been a Director since 2001. He is currently in charge of Design & Professional Services.
David was responsible for the collaboration with Richard Meier & Partners of New York which saw Keppie shortlisted to the final 5 in the design competition for the Scottish Parliament building.
David has built a reputation for developing innovative and challenging concepts for major healthcare and education buildings. Among these are the New Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Crosshouse Maternity Hospital and four schools for North Ayrshire Council.
David is married with two children and enjoys football, music and travel. His most prized possession is a signed Joe Strummer LP.
